We offer a variety of art classes for adults and kids including resin, watercolor, acrylics, glass and wood working. Check out our schedule
Paint / Glaze your own Pottery
Walk in anytime we are open and pick a piece of bisqueware for you to paint. All prices include glazes and /or paints, firing fees and your bisque.

kids Craft Club
Our Kids Craft Club offers young artist the opportunity to express themselves through art. Our Kids Craft Club is every Friday at 4:30pm throughout the school year. (August - May)
Summer Camps
Come join the fun with our art and pottery themed summer camps are Monday- Thursday. Our Jr. Art Camps are for ages 4-8. Our pottery camps are for ages 7-13. Teen camps are for ages 11-17 and our themed summer camps are for ages 5-12. Our morning sessions are from 9am-12. Afternoon sessions are from 1-3pm. Summer Camp sessions run from the last week in May -the 1st week in August. Come join the fun!!!
Kids Pottery wheel Class
Come take a spin with us on the pottery wheels! We will make some cool projects on the wheel & you will have the opportunity to come back at your convenience to glaze your projects in our pottery painting studio! This is a 1 day class that includes a return visit to glaze (paint) your projects. Ages 7 -13
Parent & Me Paint Night
Join us every month for our parent and me paint night. Register for some art bonding time with your special little artist. 2 canvases for $30, additional canvases for $15
This class is developmentally appropriate for ages 2 and up
Beginner Drawing Class
Discover the essentials of drawing that will help you create next level artwork. This class is each month from September - May with a monthly fee drafted each month as long as you are in the class. Each student works at their skill level to improve the skills with the essential of drawing portraits, still lifes, landscapes, and more This class is developmentally appropriate for ages 8 and older.
Wooden Porch Signs
From Coastal to Sunflowers on our porch we paint them all. Join a fun filled porch sign class where we inspire you to blend and paint your heart out. Different themes offered each month.
Homeschool Art Class
Our homeschool art classes run from September -April. We explore different medium each month encouraging creativity and self expression while learning. We discuss artists that previously used or currently using the medium, histories behind it and techniques. Classes are offered on Monday mornings for ages 7-13
Homeschool Clay Class
Join our homeschool clay classes on Tuesday mornings for ages 7-13. We welcome all levels of clay students to our Kid's Homeschool Clay Class! We have a blast in our 5-week class. We will make some cool projects, play around on the pottery wheel and play some one-of-a-kind clay games! Our last class is always a Pottery Party! Students will finish the class with completed projects. All clay, tools, firing fees and glaze are included in the class cost.
Advance homeschool clay classes available to flex your creativity now that you know the ropes! Build your skills and challenge yourself in this class. Wheels and table work included! Upgraded glazes will be utilized. Ages 8+ This session will challenge students to make new creations and explore the world of clay further.
SATURDAY ART Days
Join us for our kids Saturday Art Days. Come create a cool art project, paint and get messy. Art Days are offered the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month year round. Saturday Art Days are for kids ages 5-12 years of age.
Adult Clay Classes
This 5 week class is a combination hand building and wheel work. Students will take lessons on hand building and the pottery wheel. You will get to flex your creativity and create some beautiful projects. We will create from start to finish several projects, learn about clay, the firing process and glazes. No experience required. If you are experienced we will offer you more challenging projects. Class taught by an established Penland trained potter with 30+ years experience in clay and the clay industry. See you in the studio!
Seaglass Resin Art Class
This class is an introduction into working with epoxy. Participants will create their own art piece and mix their own epoxy to create a finished piece. Art work must cure 12-24 hours and must be left and the studio. Art work can be picked up the next open business day. Frames are between 8x10 to 11x14. All materials and instruction provided. you are always welcome to bring your own shells, glasses or other personal objects to incorporate into your piece.
Resin Cutting Board
Once you learn the basics of epoxy, join our cutting board class and learn how to add color to a bamboo cutting board creating an amazing piece of functional art!! You will be given 2 practice tiles to experiment on before beginning on your cutting board. Our goal is for you to be successful. Art work must cure 12-24 hours and must be left and the studio. Art work can be picked up the next open business day. All material and instruction provided.
Alcohol Ink Class
In this class participants will learn the basics of working with alcohol inks. We will be using YUPO paper, tiles and metal enjoying the different effects alcohol inks can create.
Seaglass lantern Class
In this class participants will create a 14” lantern with a variety of colored glass, seaglass and local shells. We will seal your masterpiece with a UV resistant, waterproof epoxy.
Table Top Pour Class
This class is an introduction into table top pouring using epoxy, inks and micas. You will bring your own table to this class no larger than 30x30. all materials and instruction will be provided.
Seaglass Resin window Class
In this class you are provided a solid or 6 pane window to incorporate a variety of seaglass, local shells and colored glass creating a beautiful home decor piece. All materials and instruction provided.
Seaglass Mirror Class
Bring in your favorite mirror and give it a little piazza. Mirrors must be under 30”. All materials and instruction provided.
Resin Mermaid Class
In this class, mix your epoxy, add some color, complement with glass and create a beautiful sea-santional piece of art. Mermaids are 24” tall with a wooden base. All materials and instruction provided.
11x36 Seaglass Resin Art Class
This class participants will create a beautiful glass piece of art on an 11x36 frame. All materials and instruction will be provided
Wooden Seaglass Christmas Tree Class
Lets get into the Christmas Spirit!! We will use large pieces of colored glass, seaglass, pearls, starfish and more to create this beautiful holiday decor piece. All materials and instruction will be provided.
Seaglass Christmas Tree Class
Oh so much fun!! Join us for Christmas in July or October- December for our Seaglass Christmas Tree Classes. Trees will be 8” once complete. All materials and instruction provided.

Let your home fill with warmth and coastal smells from a candle you created here at the Wild Child. Learn how to melt, add rose petals, herbs or flowers along with essential oils making the perfect take home project.
herbal Sachets
Making herbal sachets are perfect for any afternoon. These go well in drawers, closets or suitcases with the perfect all natural smell of roses, lavender and more. Pick your favorite smelling herb to make your silk sachet bag.
Barn Quilt Boards
Different barn quilts patterns that you see on barns and other buildings across the country symbolize different things. Create your own barn quilt board to hang in your home.
Essential oil Body Butter Making Class
Shampoos and lotions are being pumped full of chemicals nowadays. Lets find a way to create all natural skin care products that our whole family can use. In this class learn the basics of creating body butters, lotions and sugar scrubs with all natural ingredients.
Seaglass Succulents
Let’s create a Seaglass Creation we can keep out all year long and never have to water. Our Seaglass succulent class offers you a variety of different colors and options to put in a pot or teacup.
Acrylic Pour Party
It’s all the craze so join the party!! We do not use pre mixed paints but show you the combination of materials to use to create the paint pour effect and the techniques to go with it. this class gives swipe left a whole new meaning.
Make & Break Art Experience
Experience Art like never before!! We break glass, de-stress and make the most amazing art with all the cool stuff you broke. This is an adult class only. Sorry kiddos!
Clay Ornament Making Class
During the Christmas season we schedule several adult, kid and mommy & me Christmas Ornaments Class. Check out our schedule between October- December.
Adult Art Camp
We hold 2 adult art camps 2x a year. Typically in January and in the summer. In this class we spend the day at the studio creating 3 different art projects. Lunch is provided. Try joining one of our adult art camps for good friends, good music, great art!!
Ladies Night Out
Calling all the hard working women to de stress and have a night out at the Wild Child. The last Friday of the month we create a different art project whether it be painting, epoxy, jewelry making, clay, ect. De- Stress with good friends and make some amazing art.
Seniors Art Class
For those Young at heart, our senior classes (ages 55+) creating a different art project each month. From watercolors to resin make cool art, new friends and have a great time.
Private Parties
